NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING: PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that a public hearing will be held by the Town Board of the Town of Van Etten on November 9, 2023 at 7:00 pm at the Van Etten Town Hall, 6 Gee Street, Van Etten, NY, regarding the consideration of the Town’s and Water District’s Preliminary 2024 budget. A copy of the preliminary budget is available at the office of the Town Clerk starting November 1, 2023 where it may be inspected by any interested person during office hours. The proposed salaries of the Town Supervisor, each member of the Town Board, the Town Clerk, the Tax Collector, the Town Superintendent of Highways and the Town Justice are as follows: Town Supervisor: $12,500.00, each Town Board Member: $2,800.; $4,500., Deputy Town Supervisor: $12,900., Town Clerk: $35,000., Tax Collector: $10,000., Hwy. Supt.: $66,000., Town Justice: $12,400. PLEASE TAKE FURTHER NOTICE that any resident of the Town of Van Etten is entitled to be heard upon said budget at such public hearing. PLEASE TAKE FURTHER NOTICE, individuals with visual impairments or other special needs, will be provided with assistance as necessary, upon request. The weather is getting cooler and the leaves are beginning to drop but the library is always nice and cozy! Come visit the Van Etten Library and say Hello to Emily, the new clerk. While you’re here, join us for our October and November Programs and events!

▪ Young pets: Puppies, kittens, and ferrets must be at least 3 months of age.
▪ Initial vaccinations are effective for only one year. Pets must be re-vaccinated one year after initial vaccination.
▪ Previously vaccinated dogs & cats: Bring proof of vaccination to the clinic to receive a rabies certificate that is good for 3 years*. If no
proof provided, the certificate will expire in one year.
▪ Ferret vaccinations: Ferrets must be vaccinated annually.
▪ Clinics are for New York State residents only.
▪ Vaccinations are FREE, but donations are greatly appreciated!
If special assistance is needed at the clinic, please call 737-2019 to register a few days prior to the clinic
