NOTICE OF RECEIPT OF TAX ROLL AND WARRANT
TAKE NOTICE, that I, Dawn Rose, the undersigned Tax Collector for the Town of Van Etten, County of Chemung and State of New York, have received the Tax Roll and Warrant for the collection of property taxes within the Town of Van Etten for the year 2024, and that said taxes can be paid at the Van Etten Town Hall, 6 Gee St., Van Etten, NY, OR by mailing to PO Box 177, Van Etten, NY 14889. Beginning January 1, 2024, through March 31, 2024; EXCEPT ON HOLIDAYS.
TAKE FURTHER NOTICE, that taxes may be paid BY or BEFORE February 1, 2024 without penalty. ALL taxes received after such date, shall be added interest of one percent (1%) through February 29, 2024 and beginning March 1, 2024 an additional one percent (1%), PLUS AN ADDITIONAL Two Dollar ($2.00) Second Notice fee through April 1, 2024 pursuant to Section 987 (1) of the Real Property Tax Law.
TAKE FURTHER NOTICE, that pursuant to the provisions of the law, the Tax Roll of the Town of Van Etten will be returned to the Chemung County Treasurer after April 1, 2024.
